Bob West Bio

 

 

 

Bob West, born Bob Brulte in Glen Cove, NY, was raised in Ontario, CA, and attended San Bernardino Valley College and Cal State Poly in Pomona.

After working for KPRO in Riverside and KURO (University of Redlands) Bob joined KFXM in December of 1973 and was a part of our history for nearly two years.

Upon leaving KFXM, Bob worked at KSOM in Ontario, K/men, KGGI in Riverside, KROY in Sacramento, WQUE in New Orleans and KSFM in in Sacramento.

Bob is currently the director of radio services for the California State Senate in Sacramento.  His hobbies are amateur radio and travel to Mexico.

His all-time favorite songs are, Things I’d like to Say by the New Colony Six, Distant Lover by Marvin Gaye, Everlasting Love by Robert Knight and Volver Volver by Vincente Fernandez.
