My KFXM Story
Although AM music radio was rapidly vanishing when I got to KFXM in 1980 we had respectable numbers and a lot of fun.
I worked with a great group of broadcasters, as evidenced by their subsequent resumes.
Don Murray, Rich Watson, Craig Powers, Gary Campbell, RJ Curtis, Dave Murphy and Terry Shea just to name a few. I worked at KFXM at it’s most tumultuous time, the firings of Al Anthony and Bob Bunnel after so many years, the death of Howard Tullis and the complete emergence of FM as the dominate force in music radio. I’m proud to have KFXM on my resume and hold many fond memories of my time spent there.
