After living down at the beach
for a couple years (1980-83), and working in the aerospace industry,
I moved back to the Inland Empire to accept a flying job with a charter
outfit. I then was hired as a B-747 Captain flying air cargo
overseas. The company went into Chapter 11 and I was furloughed.
I then got the itch to go back into radio, as the flying was not
steady work. I found a steady job at KPRO Riverside until the
station got sold. Haven't gone back into radio since. Maybe
I should try again...who knows? |
